Inspired by Jote’s lovely blog, Bless Her Heart, I am starting my 30 Days of Gratitude.
I was struck by how lucky I am to have a little more time with E. before she starts school next year. She is ready to be with the big kids, go on field trips, carry a backpack, and be an independent little being. But today I stopped what I was working on, snuggled up in the chair with her and took a little nap. How many more times will I get to do that?

oh dang – that caught me off guard and totally made me tear up! So sweet. Jote, I love the 30-day gig. I’m so wishing I was in a place to be able to keep up with doing it as well, but for now I’m just really grateful to see this flood of gratefulness from other folks! (did that sentence make sense? my brain is toasty. 😉
