I’m Going to Have to Call You Back

If I suddenly have to get off the phone, it might be because the kids have said one of these top ten attention-getters.

  1. “Aren’t we supposed to be at (insert activity) now?”
  2. “Can we make smores in the microwave?”
  3. “I smell smoke downstairs.”
  4. “There is something wrong with the toilet.”
  5. “Is it ok to put this (foil wrapped burrito) in the microwave?”
  6. “Where do we keep the super glue and duct tape?”
  7.  “Can I watch Game of Thrones?”
  8.  “Do we have a really long stick with like a hook on the end?”
  9. “Is it ok if the dog eats play-doh?”
  10. And finally, pretty much anything that starts out, “I am not sure how it happened or There is something wet….”

What She Sees – The Market

I can’t remember having access to a camera when I was a kid. I imagine that film was too expensive, developing, etc.. You couldn’t have kids just wandering around taking pictures of the pavement and their stuffed animals. So it is remarkable to be able to give the kids the digital camera or iPod and let them take pictures of whatever they see. C. took these last weekend at the Farmer’s Market. I love them, because they are what she sees.
Take a look at the rest of her set here.
